What is theIDOL?
theIDOL helps K-pop fans understand what their idol is really singing: every line of a song word by word and by meaning, synced to the music. Learn Korean through the songs you love.
- How it works. Pick a song. Each line appears twice — literally, word by word with how it actually sounds, and by meaning — and both light up in time with the singing. Words you save go to a notebook with spaced review.
- Free to try, no sign-up. A verse of any song and the demo above open without an account. A free account opens whole songs and keeps your words and progress.
- An AI idol, not a real person. An AI idol character explains lines and chats with you in Korean. It is a fictional character created by theIDOL, not a real artist; theIDOL is not affiliated with any artist or label.
- AI-assisted. Breakdowns are made with the help of AI and can contain mistakes. theIDOL does not generate images on request and never creates intimate or sexual images of anyone.
